A lucky Zebra in the Hluhluwe Imfolosi Game Reserve! Obviously the result of an unsuccessful attack - this animal is likely to make a full recovery from its ordeal. Posted by Picasa

What a nice bush fix I've just had looking at your photos. I especially enjoyed the ones from Botswana, my favorite place. When were you there most recently? We haven't been since 2006. I found your blogs from the link on Sandpiper's blog. I'll be back to see more of your photos often.

Hi Ken...I found your blog by accident and just love it! Poor Zebra!! You are very brave to place yourself in some of those situations! Stunning shots, though. It must have been beautiful to visit there.

Great photos. Actually Hluhluwe Umfolosi was one of my favorite reserves to visit while I lived in SA. We actually camped in the wilderness area for several days when I was in boarding school. What a great experience being in the wild with the big five!

Hello Ken,
I have just recently started blogging and was introduced to these pages by Bruce. I found the link to your site on her page and as I live in South Africa and see you love the country as well, I thought I would introduce myself. I love your pictures and when I go up to St Lucia, I always spend time in Hluhluwe.....a beautiful part of the country.
I used to do a lot of wildlife photography but last Septeber I started doing macro and have definitely been hooked on it.
I do enjoy nature of all kinds so I photograph almost every aspect of it. I guess I am not a great photographer, but I do love nature.
Regards,
Joan
