This Blog has been created to share photographs of Africa's wildlife and landscape taken by me on visits to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. The photographs were taken with Canon EOS D60 or EOS 20D (Digital SLR) cameras, using a Canon 35mm-350mmL f3.6-f5.6 lens.

Wonderful photos! Great job too labelling all those birds. These perspectives of Africa are truely amazing - what a pity so much now has to be confined to National Parks for the animal's protection. I'm from Australia and so many things in your photos reminded me of things/landscapes here. Who wants cities and man's mess when the world still has some wonderful wilderness left to explore.
I agree with Megan. I was web surfing during lunch here in the sweltering Mississippi Delta (u.s.a) and came upon your photos. You must be a professional photographer and if not, you should be. Absolutely wonderful.

stairway to heaven
I am one who has never traveled much out of my own Virginia state in the USA. I have a fear of flying which will hold me back from being able to see the world as you see it. The photos you share here give me a glimpse into what I will never be able to see up close. Thank you for sharing this with me.

Ahhh the memories, we actually visited Hans Merensky Golf Course, Hoedspruit...and a few other areas in your photos. It really brought back fond memories, can not wait to return and this time do Vic Falls and Chobe too! Great pics!

Absolutely stunning pics!!! Such detail! Thoroughly enjoyed viewing. Particularly amazing were the bird photos. You've captured it all. A friend of mine married a man from SA and they go to visit his family every few years. From now on when she tells me how beautiful it is I'll listen better!!
